Booking Agreement

1. Booking & Cancellation Terms

  • Deposit: A $250.00 deposit is required to secure your trip date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the charter.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel up to 7 days before the trip for a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.
  • Weather: The Captain reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unsafe weather conditions. In this event, your deposit will be fully refunded or applied to a rescheduled date.

2. Fishing & Catch Disclaimer

  • No Catch Guarantee: We work hard to put clients on fish. However, catching fish is never guaranteed.
  • Natural Factors: Success depends heavily on wild factors. This includes daily weather changes, water temperatures, and seasonal fish migration.

3. Fishing License Florida requires all saltwater passengers to be licensed. Your charter covers the main vessel license, so you do not need to purchase a standard license. However, if your group is targeting specific species like Snook or Lobster, you must purchase a specific Snook ($10) or Spiny Lobster permit online.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver I understand that charter fishing in Florida waters involves inherent risks, including but not limited to severe weather, rough seas, slippery decks, hooks, sharp fish teeth, and being on the open water. By signing below, I assume all risks of personal injury, death, or property damage that may occur during this trip. I release, waive, and hold harmless [Insert Your Charter Company Name], its Captain, crew, and employees from any and all legal or financial claims, including claims of negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law.

5. Safety & Conduct

  • Alcohol & Drugs: Intoxication or illegal drug use is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate termination of the trip without a refund.
  • Life Jackets: Coast Guard-approved life jackets are provided and must be worn by children under 13 years old and during times of severe weather or rough water.
  • Minors: Parents or legal guardians must sign this waiver on behalf of any passengers under the age of 18.
